The British Canoeing Coach award is a fantastic system. As it allows you to choose from so many coaching options. You can choose your route through the coaching scheme. You start off with the Core traning, then after the core you decide on the Discipline specific training you want to do, then after that course and consolidation you go for your coach assessment.

There are no time constraints between training and assessment, and the only pre-requisite for the core training is that you are a Bristish Canoeing member prior to the course.
