You'll meet your guides in Aviemore - this town is the centre for everything adventurous in the East of Scotland. Here we'll make sure we have everthing we need for the next four days on the river as we'll be completely self sufficent for the duration. We'll load all of our equipment into our open Canadian canoes and after learning some skills to control them we'll head downriver and into a great adventure of stunnning scenery - exciting rapids, wild camping and cooking over open fires.

The whole four days will be spent on the river, this will give you chance to improve your skills, paddle down rapids and unwind from the pressures of life and truly get awqay from it all. We've got everything sorted so all you need to do it relax and let us look after you; from choosing the best route down the rapids to setting up camp and getting the meals cooked. We'll take care of it all - get involved as much or as little as you like.

Is it for me?

This trip is suitable for beginners but some previous experience is recommended to get the most out of it.

The first day is spent learning and improving skills, the river is gentle to start and allows us to gradually build up to the rapids.

The meet time is 09:00 in Aviemore so most people will choose to arrive the night before and take advantage of a bunkhouse, hostel or B&B (of which Aviemore has plenty)

Aviemore is easily accessed by train from the South.

If you choose to Fly to Inverness there is a direct train from here also.
