Once qualified, holders of this First Aid at Work certificate can be used as First Aiders in the workplace in accordance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974. This course can be adapted to suit a particular audience, for example, office or engineering staff. The First Aid at Work course is run over three days and includes both theory and practical sessions. The course is run in a varied and dynamic style to engage learners in a more fun and interactive way rather than the tradition ‘death by powerpoint’ first aid courses have become infamous for.
By arrangement the course can be run on non-consecutive days, for example - one day a week over three weeks.
Students are independently examined throughout the course it is not necessary to complete a written test. Upon successful completion a nationally recognised OFQUL certificate is issued within one week and certification is valid for three years.
Level 3 First Aid at Work : 3 day course
This comprehensive three-day course covers a wide range of first aid emergencies, enabling all participants to deal with emergency situations with confidence in a prompt, safe and effective way.
This course will give the participants a qualification to the highest level of First Aid, meeting the statutory requirements of the Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
